ASA Coaches from Banten, Indonesia join the US Embassy Sports Visitors Program in the US!

Organised and supported by long-term partner US Embassy, 10 ASA coach stakeholders from Banten, West Java, Indonesia recently travelled to Washington D.C. in the US to participate in a Sports Visitors Program. The 5 male and 5 female coaches spent time with US-based coaches (including ASA partner coach Joanna Lohman), curators, lecturers and US Embassy staff learning about US Culture & History, Sport & Racisim, Coaching Methodologies, Life Skills, Conflict Resolution and Inclusive Sports for Development which are all key areas in which ASA focuses its Edu-Sports programming activities. The coaches also toured the city, universities and embassy, before visiting the AVAYA stadium to watch the San Jose Earthquakes versus Portland Timbers MLS match!

A massive thank you to the US Embassy in Jakarta for making this awesome trip possible!
