Supported by RYTHM Foundation, ASA is delighted to have launched a brand new, 3 year, Sports-based Social Intervention program for junior high school teachers and youth in Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia.
Through ASA Training of Trainer (ToT) Master Training programming activities, the 36 male and female teachers have been empowered to deliver Sports-based Social Intervention, Life Skills and Health education activities to their respective male and female junior high school students on a long-term sustainable basis. The Youth Step Down Training (YSDT) activities in junior high schools, which will be monitored and evaluated by ASA on a weekly basis, are estimated to reach out to over 8,300 students.
An Opening Ceremony with RYTHM Foundation Management and DINAS Pendidikan (Ministry of Education) is scheduled for October/ November 2019 so watch this space!
