ASA, together with long-term strategic project partner, the US Embassy, recently conducted an on-site M&E visit to Khon Kaen, N.E. Thailand in order to assess teacher trainer and student stakeholders for the ‘No Limits, Inclusive Sports for All!’ – Inclusive Sports-based Women Empowerment & Life Skills Education Development project.
ASA and the US Embassy visited a total of 16 teacher trainers together with over 300 male and female youth with disabilities from the Autistic, Deaf and District 9 schools in Khon Kaen. It was fantastic to see the teacher trainer stakeholders understanding and implementing the ASA inclusive sports-based education methodologies and the youth beneficiaries highly engaged and motivated by the programming activities!
Stay tuned as plans are currently underway for a Dr. Becky Clark’s & Dr Andrea Woodson-Smith’s inclusive sports-based development schools roadshow program visit to Khon Kaen in May 2019. The program will comprise of a series of Training of Trainer (ToT) Master Training and Youth Development Clinics followed by School & Parent Empowerment Discussions. Exciting news for everyone associated with the project.
