ASA officially launches “No Limits, Inclusive Sports for All” project with the US Embassy CDA in Khon Kaen, N.E. Thailand!

In collaboration with long-term strategic project partner US Embassy, ASA recently launched the “No Limits, Inclusive Sports for All” project at Kaennakornwittayalai School in Khon Kaen, N.E. Thailand. With the US Embassy CDA, Peter Haymond together with the Governor of Khon Kaen in attendance, ASA showcased the Inclusive Sports-based Women Empowerment programming activities with 35 inclusive school teacher trainer stakeholders together with a group of 100 male (25%) and female (75%) students with and without disabilities.

The program had earlier subjected the 35 inclusive school teacher trainer stakeholders to an intensive 3-day Training of Trainer (ToT) Master Trainer program which had empowered them to deliver inclusive sports-based women empowerment, gender equality education together with important life skills values to male and female youth with and without disabilities.

The trainer stakeholders are currently implementing the programming activities to male and female youth with and without disabilities in their respective inclusive and special needs schools on a weekly basis with regular ASA monitoring and evaluation together with mentoring activities.

Furthermore, US Embassy and ASA are planning follow-on programd in May 2019, therefore, please stay tuned for more exciting updates!
