ASA & US Embassy launch ground-breaking Sports-based Life Skills, Health, Hygiene & Women Empowerment programs in Cambodia!

Supported by long-term regional project partner, US Embassy, ASA Foundation recently kicked off the very first Sports-based education project in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Focusing specifically on 100 vulnerable boys and girls from local foundations and public schools, the youth are empowered to learn Life Skills, Health, Hygiene and Women Empowerment education through an inclusive gender-based Edu-Sports development environment using both Soccer and Basketball as the education vehicles.

The program, which runs at the National Olympic Stadium every Sunday morning for 6 months, will closely monitor, evaluate and mentor the students through participatory learning work shop sessions followed by practical Edu-Sports development coaching activities.
