ASA & Coca Cola Amatil Coke Kicks Year 7, Soccer-based Community Capacity Building & Life Skills Development, Indonesia

ASA, in collaboration with long-time programming partner, Coca Cola Amatil Indonesia (CCAI), recently kicked off Year 7 of the massively successful “Coke Kicks” Grass Roots Community Capacity Building & Life Skills through Professional Soccer Development program in Lampung, South Sumatra, Indonesia. The Training of Trainer (ToT) Master Training program, which runs nationwide across 10 cities, empowers both local academy soccer coaches and youth players through Community Capacity Building & Life Skills education together with professional soccer training development modules. The program, which comprises of a series of participatory learning workshops together with grass roots coaching clinics runs nationwide over 9 months.

ASA also creates an annual Coke Kicks National Squad by selecting the best of the very best players for each city who will then be recommended for PSSI team national squad selection. The leading coach stakeholders will also be selected for future ASA professional club projects across Indonesia. And, furthermore, ASA and CCAI have also included a high level competition in each city so that all players and coaches can experience the wonderful Coke Kicks tournament atmosphere!
