ASA & US Embassy launch Life Skills for American Sports project for the Dignity Foundation in Malaysia

ASA, in collaboration with long-term global partner US Embassy, launched a Life Skills for American Sports project for the Dignity Foundation Learning Center and surrounding communities in Sentul. KL, Malaysia.‎ President Obama recently visited Dignity Foundation which teachers refugee students so ASA was absolutely delighted to have conducted an empowerment project at the learning center.
The overall goal of the project was to contribute to the development of Life Skills and Health education through Basketball and Soccer for youth, aged 12-16 years, in Dignity Foundation learning center and surrounding target communities across Sentul, KL, Malaysia.
The implementation of the ToT Master Training program focused on the development of Life Skills and Health education through professional American Sports (Basketball and Soccer) coaching for 20 x young adult teachers together with 700 + youth from the Dignity Foundation learning center and surrounding target communities across Sentul, KL, Malaysia.
